Description

This Aberfeldy 45 Year Old is the oldest whiskey we have ever released from the distillery. To be able to bottle a whiskey of this high standard one which has slumbered in oak for over four and half decades, is pretty magical in its own right. Cask of this age and of this quality are rare. I chose seven of our rarest casks, each one distilled in 1975.
Each of these single casks brings its own nuances and character, married together they have created a wonderful harmony that has been embraced and nurtured by the casks and not dominated. Deep aromatic notes and elegant tones are abundant in this beautifully aged, exceptional Single Malt.
