Fresh wood (sandalwood) sweet malt, cherry, spices and peanut shells with a lovely vanilla pod/custardy note.
Sweet fruits (melon, apricot). That sweet vanilla custard takes charge, but there's a nutty undertow balancing things. Oak is fairly firm.
Dry and nutty.
Royal Brackla 25 Year Old is first matured for 25 years in opulent first-fill Bourbon barrels and then finished in PX Sherry Casks to augment and elevate its incredible flavour profile. This whisky is full of splendour: the impact of maturing for over two decades in the first-fill bourbon and finished in PX has created a mighty dram cloaked in velvet.
