Lifted, fresh and lively, offering an array of ripe summer berries and dark spices, with just a touch of subtle oak lurking in the background. A lovely balance of summer berries and light spices with soft tannins adding length on the palate. A careful balance of first fill and refill casks accentuates the assorted spices within Redbreast’s characteristic full and complex flavour, amplified through additional maturation. Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in copper pot stills, Redbreast 15 is comprised exclusively of Pot Still whiskeys matured in the finest oak casks for no less than 15 years. A careful balance of first fill and refill casks accentuates the assorted spices within Redbreast’s characteristic full and complex flavour.

Redbreast is a rich, spicy single pot still Irish whiskey matured exclusively in first-fill Sherry and bourbon casks, and this fantastic 21 year old is no exception. A masterpiece of cask selection and blending, we absolutely love this older expression with its notes of tropical fruit, menthol and a touch of leather alongside all that mouth-filling goodness you find right across the range. Tremendous! Intricate and still full of life even though there’s a good proportion of whiskey older than 21 years old in there. Thoroughly enjoyable and one of the very best Irish whiskeys we’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting.
